About Me
Priya Gill, MS, LGPC
As a Licensed Professional Graduate Counselor, licensed in MD. I'm passionate about helping individuals navigate life's challenges and achieve their full potential. My path to counseling began with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UMBC and deepened with a Master's of Science in Counseling from Hood College.
For over eight years, I worked in psychiatric rehabilitation services, supporting individuals facing mental health challenges in Baltimore City and Montgomery County. This experience instilled in me a deep understanding of the complexities faced by various communities and a commitment to providing compassionate care.
My counseling style is collaborative. I believe in creating a supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgment. I aim to help you gain insight into past experiences and how their impact on your current life.
Together, we'll build upon your strengths and learn practical tools like grounding techniques and coping skills to manage difficult emotions and situations. As you feel empowered, we can delve deeper into the underlying issues that may be contributing to your challenges, including trauma and childhood experiences.
My ultimate goal is to be a trusted guide on your journey towards personal growth and healing. I believe everyone has the capacity to overcome obstacles and achieve their goals. With empathy and understanding, I'll walk alongside you as you gain the strength and insight needed to navigate any challenges you may be facing.
